External GNSS
When phone GPS isn't enough, feed the app from dedicated hardware — up to centimeter-class RTK accuracy.
receiver types
MFi receivers (Bad Elf, Garmin GLO, Dual) work automatically through iOS
and don't need pairing here. The External GNSS screen is for BLE receivers that stream
NMEA, such as RTK rovers.
pairing
Scan & connect
Open Settings → GPS Source → External GNSS Receiver, tap Scan, and select your receiver from the list.
Use External Receiver
Flip the toggle and the app's position, altitude and speed come from the external receiver instead of the phone.
Status
The screen shows the live NMEA feed status: satellites in use, fix type — including RTK float/fixed — and signal details, so you know exactly what quality you're navigating on.
